Al, glad to welcome you into the blogosphere. The more residents the better.
Hi, Al! Thanks for including my blog in your blog. I'm gonna return the favor if I ever figure out how to write HTML code so I can make the link look nice instead of looking like a URL. See, that is the true allure of blogs -- even technophobes like me can make pretty things online!
I like your column, by the way -- it's the only thing in the LVR-J that I read religiously. (OK, before anyone in Las Vegas throws cacti at me -- I live on the other side of the continent!) I'm terribly flattered my sister nominated my blog, and even more flattered that you included it in your column.
So welcome to blogdom, and when are you going to start adding pictures?
Great to see other bloggers have found my new Outpost. I know the strength of any network is in connecting it to other networks, so the more the merrier!
Blog on!...al
Thanks, Al, for the article on blogging! I now have two blogs' RSS feeds (yours and Bay's) bookmarked in Firefox, and I frequently check my bookmarks to see if any new entries have been added to either. (When you use Firefox to visit a blog on blogspot, there's a lovely little orange icon on the bottom right corner that lets you subscribe painlessly.)
Lead on, tech guru!
hmmm.. you forgot livejournal.com -- they have been around quite a bit longer than some of the sites listed here! LOL
loopy
You mentioned in your column to leave comment, I trust this is where you wanted it. Blogger is owned by Google, and they have a wonderful app called Hello that uploads pictures and it works with a photo search engine called Picasa. Both are free downloads. You find a photo on your drive, you select it, edit if necessary and with one click it is uploaded. You can then caption the photo for your blog----- photoblogging for Dummies.
This is nice set of links. I am going to read them all. Thanks for sharing.
